📻 What's a "format"?
A format is just the type of audio file the station sends you — like how a photo can be a JPG or a PNG. They all play the same way here; the differences are mostly about quality and efficiency. You don't have to pick one — we handle it.
MP3The classic. Works everywhere, sounds great. If you're unsure, MP3 is always a safe bet.
AACA newer format that sounds a little better than MP3 at the same size. Common on modern stations.
AAC+AAC's efficient cousin — good sound even on slow connections or mobile data.
OGG / OPUSOpen formats known for excellent quality, especially OPUS for voice/talk.
FLACLossless — the highest possible quality (CD-grade and beyond). Uses the most data.
📶 What's "bitrate" (kbps)?
Bitrate is the audio quality dial, measured in kbps (kilobits per second). Higher number = richer sound, but uses more data.
64–96Easy on data — great for talk, news, or spotty connections.
128The sweet spot — good music quality most people are happy with.
192–320Premium music quality. Best on Wi-Fi or unlimited data.

Live / CurrentHow many people are tuned in right now. A higher number often means something good is playing.
PeakThe most listeners the station has had at once — a sign of how popular it gets.
